Luke held his walking stick as he ran his fingers through his light brown hair, his light blue eyes had a slight gray haze over them as he made his way down the hallway of Mystic Falls High. He held is books within the bend of his left arm. Of course some people would wonder why there was a blind kid in school, shouldn't he be homeschooled? Luke shook his head at the questions playing along his mind as he stopped to adjust his brail books within his hand as he made his way toward English class. He was for a couple weeks showed around campus by a nice enough teacher to finally have things memorized enough to be able to know where to get to. The teachers always cut him some slack though, he didn't like that they were so lenient but what could he do? They felt sorry for him because he was blind.
He sighed and slowly sat within a desk in the back setting his books upon the surface of the desk when he heard one book slide and fall to the granite floor. With a small frown he bent down, feeling for where the book had gone. Hearing some kinds snicker at him as he felt the book beneath his finger tips and grab it as he sat carefully back in his seat as he opened his brail book that was made for him to the assignment for today and listened because he couldn't very well write what she was saying because he had no idea if he was writing exactly that. So he sat there, listening to the teacher, until he heard someone trying to get his attention.

Annaliese wasn't a huge fan of being the new girl at school. She was year older than everybody else, mainly because she was moved around a bit when she was younger. She sighed as was bumped by a football player. She lgared at him as she kept walking to her classroom. Why her father had picked this town, she'd never know, but her did and she wasn't all that impressed by it yet. She had alreayd been bitten by a vampire and threatened by another witch. Oh truly she loved being a new student in a new town. Anna had been going to Mystic Falls High School for a couple of weeks now and she knew where most of her classes were, but she was still ocassionaly late for one every now and then, and this class just happened to be that day.
Annaliese made her way to her seat, after being thanked for finally joining them for class. She sat down at the back of the class room, next to the blind kid, Luke. Anna leaned over and whispered to him, "Hey, what have I missed so far? My locker got stuck and I came in a bit late." she asked him and smield, fully knowing that he wouldn't see her smile at him.

He tilted his head in the direction a girl spoke and smiled at her words before touching the rigid bumps upon the pages that people only saw as just a stencil like design and then turned his head to face her as his light brown hair fell within his face slightly as his blind eyes looked into hers. He of course didn't know he was looking straight at her.
"I believe we were about to talk about the Renaissance Era... before it began, during, and after." He smiled as he turned his head toward his book as he let his fingers glide over the creases within the paper. "You have a rusty locker too?" He chuckled lightly at the idea, there were at times when he would have his locker door stuck but someone, possibly one of the teachers would always help him. He moved his hand away from his book to rake his finger within his hair as the teacher begun her lecture.
"Key thing to do is bang it a bit upon the hinges that works for me sometimes otherwise someone usually helps me." He said with a crooked smile as he turned his head back at her slightly.

Annaliese's eyes met his, he was looking right at her, and she thought that it was pretty cool. Even though he had a grey film covering them, they were still beautiful, a beautiful blue. Anna brought herself back to the lecture, "Thank and sometimes it does get stuck because it's old, but it also doesn't help when you forget your combination. I do that on far too many occasions." she said, smiling a bit again, "People tend to just point and laugh whenever thye see me locker get stuck and me struggling with it. I'm not exactly in the popular crowd here." she said as she shrugged, she stayed quiet for a few moments, just so that they teacher knew she was paying attention, she half was anyways.
"I'm Anna by the way," she said to him. She wrote down a few various notes about what they were talking about, fully knowing the eventually, there'd be some sort of quiz on it. She sort of stopped paying attention when France was brought into it, considering that she knew enough about France as it was, "Thanks again." she said smiling. Damn, she thought, he's cute.

He smiled a crooked smile as he listened to the lecture and her within the same time. He didn't have no trouble paying attention to both people. When you lost your sight it was one of many things that you learned to do extremely well.
"Mmm i suppose yeah though i am not within the popular crowd either, but people seem to leave me alone regardless of the case." He spoke, tilting his head to the side as he listened to her introduce herself as he listened to the lecture given about France at the same time. "I'm Luke, it's a pleasure to meet you Anna. Not many people here talk to the blind kid." He chuckled lightly, he didn't find it bothersome at all that nobody talked to him though it was kind of sad and lonely at times when he wished to just converse like a normal person but he couldn't because people seemed to have a thing of ditching the blind kid because he can't see. It had happened countless times but he never let him bother him much.
"So do you like the assignment of the Renaissance that we are doing throughout this whole week?" He asked, his voice casual as he ran his fingers through his hair again.

She smiled a bit, "Most of the people here are judgemental dicks and jerks. I'm sure you're great conversation." she said to him. Not many people here talked to her, mainly because people thought that because she lived in France up until she was 13, meant that she didn't speak a word of English, therefore they ignored her. They wouldn't speak to her unless they knew for a fact that she was able to speak and understand English. She did miss her French accent, and was envious of her father, who was able to keep his. She was aimlessly doodling for a bit as the teacher went on about France. It bored her to some extent, not because she found France boring, but because she already learned it.
"I like it well enough, I'll do really good on the parts about France though. What about you? You interested in this sort of stuff?" she asked. She liked how formal her was about things. She watched him run his fingers through his messy hair and smiled a bit. Anna looekd down at her doodle and smiled a bit as she looked down at the very pathetic stick dragon chasing a stick knight on a stick horse.

He smiled a bit when she asked if he was interested in this kind of stuff and let his hand go back to running his fingers along the brail as he listened to her speak. He wished he could see again, because then he'd be able to become a writer like he wished to be. With a soft side he tilted his head to have his face facing hers again.
"Yeah i suppose i am interested within stuff like this, it intrigues me on how much stories are made through one course of action." He said with a crooked smile as he heard the teacher announce that the bell was about to ring for lunch. "Maybe after lunch is over and the rest of the forty minutes we spend here... you can tell me more about France? I'd at least like to know what it looks like with someone that can see." He smiled slightly as he closed his book when he heard others doing so and chatting amongst themselves until the bell was ready to ring. He turned his head to face his closed book and drummed his fingers lightly against the hard cover. Listening to the scratching of a lead pencil against paper. The crinkling of paper being thrown and the rustle of fabric against skin and clothing. He could almost hear everything since he was really paying attention. To most people he seemed to be zoning out but he in fact was just listening to what was going on around him.
"From what i read.... well in this case felt." Pauses as he flexes his fingers against his brail book. "It seems to be beautiful."

Annaliese smiled at him, "Yeah, I'd love to." she satrted to put her books into her bag, "ack!" she said as she was hit in the head with a crumpled piece of paper. She got a "sorry" for the person who threw it. Annaliese shook it off, wasn't the first time, won't be the last. Although, last time she had something hit her in the head, she was in a parking lot, and it was a spell that got her smack in the forehead snd knocked her right out. Sheshook her head, as if to shake away that particular memory. She leaned back in her desk.
"France is one of themost beautiful places I've ever been and one of these days, I'm to go back there." she told him. Annaliese pulled her phone out of her pocket after she felt it vibrate. She had a text from the big quater back by the name of Bob. She was helping him in French and Bob lked to consider thme friends, which brought her up a little bit when it came to the social status of herin High School.

Luke heard the crumble of paper hit something and heard a meaningless sorry before hearing that it was Anna whom got hit. He cocked his head to the side as he remained silent. Listening to her words as a soft smile played along his lips.
"I suppose that isn't far off on returning home is it?" He asked curiously as he pushed himself up slowly from his desk to smile softly within Anna's direction as the bell rang. "What makes you want to return home so quickly?" He felt for his books and picked them up from the surface of the desk as he turned to face her sideways. A small was still complacent upon his face as his blue filmed stared straight ahead. He listened to the shuffling of feet and voices drifting farther away as they exited the creaking door of the classroom toward the cafeteria of wherever which it may be.
"If you don't mind...could you walk me to the cafeteria? I don't necessarily know which direction to go and this is only my second week here. He asked as he tucked his books within the bend of his left arm as he awaited her response. Usually many people would neglect his question and walk on and of course a teacher would help him. He had happened to forget his walking stick today.

She shrugged when Luke asked her why she wanted to return to France, "It's not that I want to return home, it's that I want to go back just for a visit. We have family there that I haven't seen in 6 years and I want to see how it's changed." She said, which was mostly true. she also wanted to go back because that was where her witch powers started to come into play. She wanted to know a bit more about her history on how she became a witch and such.
Annaliese watched everyone leave and was about to get up and leave when Lue asked her to walk him to the cafeteria. She smiled at him, "Yeah, I'd love to." she said smiling, "So... do you want me to like lead you ro something?" she asked, trying to not sound as stupid as her question was. She'd never actually helped someone who was blind before.

A soft smile played along his lips as she asked if that was to lead him toward the cafeteria. He tilted head so that way he could try and face her.
"I suppose yes it is leading me to the cafeteria..." He said with a smile as he turned his head to feel around toward the door leading to the hallway. Some people snickered and there were whispers of it being funny to trip him but nobody dared to do it. He pause near the door frame and waited for her though his back was facing her. He turned his head so that his face was looking over his shoulder blindingly looking straight at her. "Well do you wish to eat or skip to the last class of the day?" A soft smile was placed along his lips as he awaited her to take his arm and lead him toward the cafeteria.
"I hope i am not being a bother in asking you for this, i'd do it myself but well as you can see..." His smile faded a bit at that and turned his face to face the hallway as he ran his fingers through his light brown hair. "I'm blind..." His voice was soft, and filled with slight sadness. He wish he could see but he couldn't help the fact that he got the condition to where the nerves within his eyes were deteriorating.

Annaliese tossed her bag over her should as she stood up and walked over to Luke. She took his arm and started to lead him to the cafeteria. She could hear the mockery and the thought of how funny it would be to trip him, she looked at the tough looking football jock who said that and mentally chanting a spell, caused his belt to snap and his pants fall down. She smirked to herself as he swore a blue streak and as many other people began to laugh at him.
"To be perfectly honest, I'd love to skip a class, but for the last class of the day, I'm helping Tyler Lockwood with French." Annaliese laughed lightly. It had surprised her when he came to her, looking all cute and pathetic, telling her that if he didn’t pull up his French mark, he was going to get kicked off of the football team.
She smiled at Luke, “So, that’s the reason as to why people won’t talk to you? Because you’re blind?” she said, and before she would think twice she added, “You do have pretty eyes.”

Luke smiled slightly as she complimented him about his eyes and begun to walk wherever his feet led him as he walked toward the bustling sounds of the cafeteria that wasn't so far away from where they were.
"I suppose, but being blind... also is a reward as well. Because when you're blind you don't see what's on the outside of the person. You look into what is on the inside. Only then i can see... but there is another way, but i find it rude to do so." he answered slightly as his smile faltered into a light smirk. "But i wouldn't know on what my eye color is... would you tell me?" He turned his face to face her slightly though he was probably off. He gazed over her shoulder with his clouded clear blue eyes and smiled softly, feeling his hair falter within his face.
"For all i know they could be mismatched... and i could be... well what people pick on because of the fact they judge upon appearances..." He smirked lightly and tilted his head up to face the ceiling. "As for your earlier words... Tyler Lockwood? Isn't that one of the jocks around here? Sorry i am not so... good with paying attention most of the time. I tend to be listening to things other then what the person is talking about like... the bustle of students in the cafeteria. Girls giggling outside, a trashcan tumbling over. A staple stapling papers, the wind brushing against the trees, the birds chirping and flapping their wings... stuff like that." He sighed... he was rambling yet again, to an unknown person that would more then likely walk away and leave him to find where he needed to go upon his own.
OOC: sorry it took so long, o.o i handle a site ahaha so o.o
